Everything you need to know about booking, delivery, and safety for your Bassetlaw Bounce hire.
1. Can the Bouncy Castles be used indoors?
Yes. However, you must make sure the venue is of a suitable size and you must check the ceiling height. This must be higher than the castle you are booking. Full dimensions of our castles are listed on the product pages on our website.
2. What happens if the weather is bad (heavy rain or wind)?
We will ring you, and if the booking has to be cancelled, we will make arrangements for an alternative date. Most of our Bouncy Castles have rain covers; these will protect from showers and heavy sunlight. Note: For safety reasons, inflatables cannot be used in winds exceeding 24mph.
3. How much space is required?
All the dimensions of our Bouncy Castles and inflatables are on the website. Please allow at least 2 foot either side and 4 foot both front and rear for safe pegging and access.
4. Do you deliver, set up, and pack the inflatable away?
Yes. We set up and pack away all of the inflatables. We will also give you instructions and advice for safe use upon delivery.
5. How much notice do you need to book a castle?
Please give as much notice as possible. During busy periods, holidays, etc., bookings will fill up in advance. We will always try to accommodate you where possible.
6. How long do I get the castle for?
We deliver in the morning from 8 am and collect from 5 pm. If you are the first drop off, then you will be the first collection. Times will be different in the winter months. If you require a certain time slot, please let us know and we will try to arrange this.
7. Can we collect the Bouncy Castles from you?
No. For insurance reasons and health and safety, only our trained staff are permitted to deliver, set up, and collect the inflatables.
8. My garden slopes slightly, will it be ok?
Yes, a slight slope is ok. The entrance will need to be placed at the top of the slope. If the slope is quite severe we may not be able to set up in your location. We may ask for an alternative location; please have a suitable one in mind. Please remember safety is our number one priority.
9. How is the castle fastened down?
We do this by using heavy-duty ground pegs to anchor the inflatable down on grass. For indoor hire, we use sandbags for stability. (Note: We do not set up outside on artificial grass or hardstanding).
